Our Kenya
Ministry Partners
Pastor Joshua
The focus of his outreach is to the elderly and those downtrodden in the poor parts of Kenya. His main focus is the Ombaka area in Kisumu country, Kenya. This is a region where the Nyando river continually floods, causing even more hopelessness and leaving many homeless. Many children are left alone because of the AIDS epidemic and eventually wonder into our mission compound. The gospel is free to everyone. However, it still takes funds to care for and save these children.
We need prayers for widows and orphans and everyone in this poor area. Last year, a 93 year old great grandmother was trying to raise three of her great grandkids. We were able to expand the mission house with the help of B2N and invite her to dwell there. This saved them from a life of living in their prior rat and snake infested hut.
Those who come to the mission house are continually looking to help those who are less fortunate. They all share the little they have and are a picture-perfect example of the servanthood of our Lord and Savior.
Thanks to B2N, there an opportunity to generate regular income through the purchase of a small fish farm. This is with a 20×30 net that raises fish for 6 months until ready for sale in the market. The expectation is with a $1500 investment, $800 can be generated every 6 months. There is even some small fish left for replenishment of the fish farm. It is possible to generate $800 every 6 months off this simple fish compound. Please consider funding this project.
